KEEP YOUR CREATIONS

A universe worth saving.

Download your saved planet settings as a backup file. Keep your names, colours, rings, moons, and experiments.

This downloads settings. Use the postcard button inside the customizer to download a planet image.

Bring your universe back.

Restoring replaces your three current worlds. Download a fresh backup before testing.

POCKET PLANET / FLIGHT HANDBOOK Your universe starts here.

Build a world, experiment with its environment, and explore the space beyond it.

01 / NAVIGATE

Choose your world

Select Rog, Ember, or Frost directly in the solar system to open its customization panel.

Move your pointer into the solar system to pause the planets and select one more easily.

02 / CREATE

Make it yours

Give your planet a name, choose its colour, and experiment with its surface design.

Add rings and change their style and colour. Return to the solar system to see your changes.

03 / OBSERVE

Look around

Drag the 3D preview to examine your planet from different angles.

Use Reset view to return to the starting angle. Try Day view and Night view to compare the lighting.

04 / ENVIRONMENT

Build an atmosphere

Enable atmosphere and adjust cloud coverage. Add storms to see occasional lightning glows.

Add a moon, then experiment with its colour, size, orbit radius, and orbital speed.

05 / EXPERIMENT

Leave your mark

Choose a meteor impact point and launch a meteor toward your world.

Rocky and icy surfaces keep craters. Gas worlds show a cloud burst instead. Press Esc to cancel targeting.

Explore beyond

Select the ISS to open an Earth video stream. Try the other provider if playback fails.

Select the telescope to explore the image archive and follow each observation’s official source.

An imaginative space sandbox. Planet sizes, distances, and experiments are not to scale.

About this mission window

The station image is a NASA illustration. Its slow circle here is decorative: the real ISS orbits Earth, not this fictional planetary system. Sen and NASA provide Earth views using cameras mounted on the station.

THE OBSERVATION ROOM

Deep Space Explorer

Eight real observations from the James Webb Space Telescope. These are published infrared images mapped into visible colours, rather than a live camera.
